Attendance And Booking Policies
Do I need a partner to attend?
No. You can attend on your own, with a partner or with friends. Pairing and partner rotation during workshops are guided by the instructor. Partner rotation is optional, and an equal number of partners cannot be guaranteed in every class.
Can I attend without staying at the festival hotel?
Yes. You can attend with a valid festival ticket without staying at the hotel. You do not need to book accommodation to access the festival areas covered by your ticket. The hotel’s separately charged services outside the festival are not included.
Can beginners attend?
You do not need to be an advanced dancer to attend. Choose workshops according to the levels shown in the programme. If you have never taken a dance class, contact us before buying a ticket to find out which sessions would suit you. Intermediate and advanced classes require knowledge of the relevant basic steps.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my ticket?
Cancellation and refund requests are handled under the terms displayed for the specific product and sales platform at the time of purchase, subject to applicable law. Submit your request through your original sales channel and include your order number. Ticket cancellation does not automatically cancel a separate hotel booking.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
For eligible unused, paid festival tickets, a one-time name-change request may be submitted until 22 January 2027 at 23:59 (Türkiye time), subject to confirmation by our team and the applicable platform rules. Provide the order number and new attendee’s name and email address. The organisers do not charge a name-change fee; a platform fee may apply. Complimentary, artist and staff passes are excluded. Hotel bookings must be handled separately.
Will day passes or party-only tickets be available?
If day passes or party-only tickets become available, they will appear on our official Tickets page with their inclusions and dates. Availability and door sales are not guaranteed.
Is there an age restriction?
Evening parties are for guests aged 18 and over. Guests under 18 may attend daytime workshops only with written approval from the organisers before purchasing a ticket and while accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Identification is required at registration to verify age.
What do I need to show when I arrive?
Present your ticket confirmation or QR code and identification document at the registration desk to collect your festival wristband. The name on your ticket must match your identification. Wristbands are personal, non-transferable and must be worn throughout the festival. Registration desk opening hours will be announced on our Schedule page. If your wristband is lost or damaged, contact the registration team before entering.
Can you help me find a roommate?
You can send our team a room-sharing request. If a suitable participant is available, we can help you connect with both parties’ consent. A match is not guaranteed. Double/Twin bookings require two guests sharing a room; please do not purchase this package for yourself alone before a roommate is confirmed. If no match is found, you may choose a Single room, subject to availability and the price difference.
Accommodation And Meals
What is the official festival hotel?
The official festival hotel is Hilton Istanbul Kozyatağı. Staying at the venue makes it easy to move between your room and the festival activities.
Is hotel accommodation included in the Full Pass?
No. The Full Pass and hotel accommodation are separate products. To attend the festival and stay at the festival hotel, you need to purchase your ticket and book your accommodation separately.
How many nights does the standard accommodation package include?
The standard festival accommodation package includes three nights, with check-in on 29 January and check-out on 1 February. Please check your arrival and departure dates when booking.
What room types are available?
Single rooms for one guest and Double/Twin rooms for two guests are available. A Double room has a double bed, while a Twin room has separate beds. State your bed preference when booking and check that it is confirmed in your booking confirmation.
Is the Double or Twin room price per person?
The Double/Twin package price is per person, based on two people sharing a room. When booking, check whether the displayed price is per person or the total for the room, and make sure your roommate’s booking is also arranged.
Are breakfast and dinner included?
Meals depend on the specific accommodation package you select. Please refer to the current Hotel page and your booking confirmation for the exact breakfast and dinner inclusions. Festival ticket admission does not include hotel meals.
Can I stay an extra night before or after the festival?
Additional nights, including 28 January and 1 February, may be requested separately. They are not part of the standard three-night accommodation package and are subject to room availability and written price confirmation.
